Ben Haley
Ben Haley is co-founder of Evolved Energy Research, a research and consulting firm who has created proprietary analytical tools specifically adapted to modeling energy system transformation. He has been the principal architect of all of the firm’s modeling platforms and leads EER’s Annual Decarbonization Perspectives in the U.S. and Europe.
Ben has unique experience developing energy system models which have been utilized by the governments of California, Washington, Massachusetts, Maine, Oregon, New York, and New Jersey to support emissions target-setting and long-term planning; by utilities and other companies worldwide to support strategic decision-making; and by NGOs and academic institutions to support advocacy and research activities.

Dr. Derek Wissmiller is Director of Strategic Analytics at GTI Energy. He drives efforts to enhance our assessment and understanding of the environmental and economic impacts of technology solutions in transitioning energy systems. Derek’s passion to advance low-cost, low-carbon technologies is underpinned by a diverse breadth of experience in cultivating partnerships, managing R&D programs, leading teams, and promoting technical excellence.
