Karen Crippen
TECHNICAL FELLOW
Specializes in gas quality and energy materials analysis for natural gas, RNG, and other fuels
Ms. Crippen is an accomplished analytical chemist and technical leader with more than 40 years at GTI Energy. Her work spans RNG integration, trace constituent analysis, and residential gas safety, helping improve the safety, reliability, and interoperability of energy systems.
She leads GTI Energy's ISO 17025-accredited laboratories and brings deep expertise in analytical method development and lab operations. She authored an ASTM mercury analysis method and has contributed to national gas quality standards and safety guidance, reinforcing GTI Energy's role as a trusted technical partner.

Shiguang Li, Ph.D
TECHNICAL FELLOW
Specializes in advanced materials for gas processing applications
Dr. Li is an accomplished chemical engineer, bringing nearly two decades of experience at GTI Energy. His work spans carbon capture, hydrogen production, energy storage, and membrane-based separations, with demonstrated impact from laboratory innovation through pilot-scale deployment.
Dr. Li has authored 100+ peer-reviewed publications and holds 26 patents. His contributions enable GTI Energy to deliver practical, high-performance technologies backed by strong technical credibility.
