On March 22, 2018, GTI held its Spring Meeting of the Board of Directors and Committee meetings. At that event, the Board approved a number of changes in GTI’s Leadership Team.

GTI announced the promotion of James Ingold to Senior Vice President of Finance, Treasurer, and CFO. Ingold has been at GTI since 2012, overseeing finance, accounting, and information technology. He is responsible for the optimization of financial activities across the organization, managing GTI’s equity interests and investments, maintaining a broad risk management program, developing business plans, and directing the treasury function. Ingold earned a B.S. degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana, Illinois, and an M.B.A. in Finance from DePaul University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the Illinois CPA Society.

Quinton Ford has been elected Corporate Secretary and Acting General Counsel to replace Peter Witty upon his departure. Ford joined GTI in 2006, and has held roles of increasing responsibility involving technology commercialization and intellectual property licensing, oversight of GTI’s equity holdings, and contracting and legal affairs. In his current role, he oversees the drafting and negotiation of a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements, merger and acquisition activity, legal support of technology commercialization including intellectual property licensing, corporate governance of GTI’s subsidiaries, and various other legal matters. Ford earned a B.S. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and graduated with magna cum laude distinction as a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Notes David Carroll, GTI President and CEO, “Both of these gentlemen have made significant contributions to the growth of our organization. Jim has played a critical role in negotiation, due diligence, transition process, and financial integration of new acquisitions. Quinton has developed many company policies and drafted and negotiated a wide range of agreements that have helped to advance the business interests of GTI and our subsidiaries.”
